Located in Southern Tuscany, Chiusi was an important outpost for the Etruscan civilization starting from 5th Century BC. A must see is the museum, which offers wonderful treasures from local excavations. Make sure you sign up to visit the tombs that are located about a mile outside of the town and well worth a visit. You can also go underground beneath the city and explore ancient caves and tunnels.
